Principal's Message
My name is Eileen Leckenby, and I am honored to be the Principal of Birney Elementary School. Birney is a special place because of the dedication of every single student, family, and staff member. I can’t wait to get to know each of you. We are going to have a great school year!
Our students at Birney are not only successful academically, but also have opportunities to develop strong leadership skills, positive social connections, and their own unique strengths and interests through a variety of programs and supports. We are committed to caring for the whole child, and we do so in partnership with our students, families, and community.
I would like to extend a special welcome to our new Birney families. You are joining an exceptional community, and I am looking forward to getting to meet you at a Birney event soon. Please reach out if I can help with anything or if you’d just like to say hello.
