Welcome to Mrs. Pam Cadena's Second Grade Classroom!

Hi, Birney families!  My name is Mrs. Pam Cadena, and I have been teaching in Redondo Beach USD since 1998.  Prior to coming to Birney, I taught first, fourth, and fifth grade at Beryl Heights Elementary.  I was also a Teacher on Special Assignment in Educational Services at the District Office, where I was in charge of GATE, English Learners, State Testing, and many other things.

 

I am originally from New England but have lived in Southern California for many, many years.  My husband and I love to hike, travel, backpack, and spend time with our pets.  I am also an avid runner and love to read.
